As you probably saw in the Wisps of Straw, a project to rejuvenate the Sexton house and make it once again habitable is underway. Spearheaded by Dave and Charlotte Morris, work is concentrating on renovating the bathroom and kitchen, as well as flooring and infrastructure such as plumbing and wiring.
As said before, we are hoping for significant volunteer involvement to help them complete this work. A substantial amount of material will also be required. Lists of needed items along with expected costs to purchase them are available in the narthex as well as the Frey Hall lobby. In each place is a “Springtime Christmas” tree with ornaments for the items on these lists. Please prayerfully consider which ornaments you can take and use the lists there to indicate what you are willing and able to provide to further this important work for the future of St. James.
Contact Dave or Charlotte with any questions firstname.lastname@example.org
Download the complete list of items needed for the Sexton's house project. After you select the item you want to sponsor, go to St. James and take the corresponding ornament off the donation tree and sign your name on the sign up sheet next to the tree. Please leave your check in the Church service offering plate.
